Accessibility is all about enabling everyone to use the web without restrictions. Everyone should be able to perceive, understand, navigate, interact with and contribute to the web. 

Almost 8 million people in Germany have a form of severe disability. According to a study by Aktion Mensch, these people are online 6.5 days a week and use the internet above average. This makes them extremely relevant online customers. Accessibility on the web is essential for this 10% of the population. We help you to include every user. More information on accessibility and upcoming legislation can be found right here. 

The hmmh QuickCheck analyses selected pages regarding their accessibility. We thoroughly test manually where exactly the hurdles are for the user and where there is potential for optimisation. We focus on the 10 biggest accessibility mistakes that occur again and again. Our customers then receive a detailed Barrier Report with concrete proposals for solutions to be implemented by us or their own development teams.

Essential for some, indispensable for others - an accessible website is beneficial for everyone.

Why the QuickCheck and what is being tested?

The QuickCheck is a new element of our offer, in which we test up to nine pages for the 10 most common accessibility mistakes in order to future-proof our customers for the upcoming accessibility law in 2025. All websites (including intranets), online shops and apps that contain information for products and services, as well as electronic administrative processes, must be accessible to all.
